Capturing Moments<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Images can be generated, copied and reproduced; but only an original photograph captures a moment, a moment that records so much more than just a visual artifact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The moment captured is what cannot be reproduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether a photograph tells a deeply personal story, or not, the viewer is presented with the option of over-laying their own personal moments in time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Before my mom passed, I would have a weekly call with her. I would save up all events, thoughts and experiences to share with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After she passed away, I found that through the course of the week I was still collecting experiences that I would have shared with her during our call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I discovered I enjoyed this introspection and did not want to lose it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also realized that I was looking at the world in terms of what my mom would enjoy hearing about, or presenting her with ideas that she would challenge, but generally collecting moments that we could share, and did not want to lose this alternative perspective either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So not pure introspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bought my camara with some of the money she left for me and now have the opportunity to view moments through an additional lens and a different perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
